Bio-X is a remarkably successful university-wide program at Stanfo rd that could function as a model for interdisciplinary research at ϲ . Bio-X’s mission is to catalyze discovery by crossing boundaries between disciplines\, to bring interdisciplinary solutions and to create new knowl edge of biological systems in benefit of human health.
