 s characterized by a striking male preponderance in prevalence. While noso
 logical factors play a role in the underrepresentation of autistic females
 \, factors related to biological sex and typical sexual differentiation ha
 ve in recent years been increasingly considered\, too. Here\, I will prese
 nt findings from my research into sex differences in different aspects of 
 neural organization in autism (both structural and functional imaging moda
 lities) and an overview of different methods to tap into the link between 
 autism and typical sexual differentiation.\n\nBio: 2015: PhD at University

  Brain and Mind (VBM) Seminar Series will advance the vision of Dr. Willia
 m Feindel (1918–2014)\, Former Director of the Neuro (1972–1984)\, to cons
 tantly bridge the clinical and research realms. The talks will highlight t
 he latest advances and discoveries in neuropsychology\, cognitive neurosci
 ence\, and neuroimaging.\n\nSpeakers will include scientists from across T
 he Neuro\, as well as colleagues and collaborators locally and from around
  the world. The series is intended to provide a virtual forum for scientis
 ts and trainees to continue to foster interdisciplinary exchanges on the m
 echanisms\, diagnosis and treatment of brain and cognitive disorders.\n\n*
