In the fifty years since historians\, academics\,\npoliticians and the ge neral public have vigorously debated the\nnature of the Quiet Revolution a nd its impact.\nThis colloquium returns to the actors involved in these re forms\nto get their perspectives on these events and shed light on some of \nthe myths and symbols about the Quiet revolution and living in the\nQueb ec of the 1960s and 1970s. Many important actors of that period\nare still alive and will greatly contribute to a better understand\nof the period\, which seems increasing distinct from today’s\nreality.  This is especiall y true for the anglophone public to\nwhom this event is  primarily speakin g.
