DESCRIPTION:The 2013 Neuro Film Series season will begin on Wednesday\,\nOc
 tober 24 at 6:30 pm.  We will be showing the Academy Award\nwinning scienc
 e fiction film 'Charly' (1968)\, which is an\nadaptation of 'Flowers for A
 lgernon” by Daniel Keyes. It chronicles\nthe life of a patient who undergo
 es an experimental neurosurgical\nprocedure to enhance his IQ. The film ex
 plores relationships\nbetween neurosurgery and neuropsychology\, intellect
  and emotion\,\nlove and loss. At the end of the film\, our Neuro host\, D
 r. Jeffrey\nHall will discuss the film and welcome questions and\ncomments
 .\n\nDr. Hall is neurosurgeon dedicated to the surgical care of patients\n
 with epilepsy. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in\nNeuropsycho
 logy earned under the mentorship of Dr. Doreen Kimura\nwho was Dr. Brenda 
 Milner's first PhD student.\n\nDiscover Science at the movies on October 2
 4\, 6:30 pm at the Neuro\nFilm Series!\n\nNeuro Movie Nights are free and 
 snacks can be purchased (including\nwraps and popcorn)!\n\nAll films take
