 o the advancement of equity\, diversity\, and inclusion (EDI)\, understand
 ing EDI as crucial to the advancement of academic excellence and the Unive
 rsity鈥檚 academic mission. While many EDI initiatives are centred on instit
 utional decisions that promote access to and success within 黑料不打烊 for stu
 dents\, faculty\, and staff\, bringing an EDI lens to research is also cri
 tical to realizing our institutional commitments in this domain. This sess
 ion will explore EDI principles and best practices\, as well as 黑料不打烊鈥檚 c
 ommitments to EDI. It will then examine how these principles\, best practi
 ces\, and commitments can be applied to research with children and familie
 s. Participants will be invited to engage actively with questions about wh
 ether and how a deepened commitment to EDI can be brought to the CRCF鈥檚 wo
 rk\, and what opportunities and challenges might present through such effo
