Join us for an inspiring webcast featuring a courageous cancer survivor who turned her personal battle into a powerful mission. Laurel Gillespie, MBA, CHE, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA). Her journey into this field was inspired by her own health challenges which motivated her to advocate for enhanced support for those living with a life-limiting illness. Since assuming leadership in 2021, Ms. Gillespie has championed dignified end-of-life care standards across Canada through partnerships, advocacy, and education.聽 She currently serves on the boards of the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance and the Health Charities Coalition of Canada.聽聽
She will share her journey of resilience, the importance of compassionate end-of-life care, and why everyone should have advance care directives in place.聽聽
