Dr. Christophe Bedos elected as 2025 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences

Professor Christophe Bedos has been elected as a 2025 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS). Fellows elected to the CAHS are recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions to the promotion of health science. They come from disciplines across Canadian universities, healthcare and research institutes, and evaluate Canada鈥檚 most complex health challenges and recommend strategic, actionable solutions.

Dr. Bedos co-directed the Quebec Network for Intersectoral Research in Sustainable Oral and Bone Health (RiSBOd) from 2017 to 2025. His research aims to transform the dental care system so that it becomes accessible to all people, is inclusive of disadvantaged social groups and is fully integrated into the health network, while also addressing environmental challenges. Dr. Bedos is the lead investigator on the project 鈥淐reating a culture of sustainability in the 黑料不打烊 Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences鈥 to study the Faculty鈥檚 direct and indirect carbon emissions, waste, and water consumption, and the development of objectives and strategies for eco-sustainability.
