AReNA, Québec’s RNA Hub, is inviting everyone involved in the field of RNA in Québec—researchers, innovators, institutions, partners, anyone curious about the field, as well as experts—to attend the event "From Mission to Action" on October 16, 2025 at the BAnQ in Montréal.

This event is intended to celebrate a year of collective impact with presentations, discussions and networking, as well as to reconnect and collectively reflect on RNA therapies in Québec.

Update | The DNA to RNA (D2R) website has a new section dedicated to Training. From Master's to Postdoctoral, this space provides graduate students at all levels with access to workshops, events, and resources aligned with D2R’s interdisciplinary mission. Topics include RNA therapeutics, genomic medicine, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), commercialization, data science, and career development beyond academia.

Long dismissed as “junk,” viral fragments buried in human DNA may help regulate our genes, according to a new international study co-led by Guillaume Bourque, professor in ��ϲ��’s Department of Human Genetics, D2R-funded researcher and member of the D2R Research Steering Committee and Executive (RSC). The findings offer new insights into what makes us human, 25 years after the human genome was first mapped.

D2R launches a call for applications for the Master’s and Doctoral Scholar Awards funding program.

A foundational goal of D2R is to help cultivate the next generation of researchers. Being a D2R Scholar is the highest recognition available to D2R trainees and the awards recognize outstanding and active trainees performing research across all of D2R’s Foundational Axes.
