 ABILITY: A film festival co-organized by Dr. Tara Flanagan\, Assistant Pro
 fessor in the Department of Educational and Counsellling Psychology at McG
 ill University.  The Montreal Regarding Disability film festival is dedica
 ted to promoting awareness and appreciation of the perspectives\, achievem
 ents and artistic expression of people with different disabilities. We str
 ive to improve community consciousness of disabilities\, inclusion\, and a
 ccessibility. We are equally committed to ensuring the optimal accessibili
 ty of all festival events. The festival will take place over a full week w
 ith 7 screenings of international films\, a gala reception\, and a variety
  of other events in conjunction with the festival including an art exhibit
 ion\, a workshop for teens with disabilities on video production\, and pub
 lic discussions.  Le Festival de films : Un regard sur le handicap vise à 
 conscientiser et permettre de reconnaître les perspectives\, les accomplis
 sements et l’expression artistique des personnes vivant différentes situat
 ions de handicap. Par ailleurs\, nous désirons améliorer auprès de la comm
 unauté cette prise de conscience sur les handicaps\, l’inclusion et l’acce
 ssibilité des personnes touchées. Nous allons permettre une accessibilité 
 optimale pour tous les événements du Festival. Le Festival se déroulera su
 r une période d’une semaine. La programmation prévoit la tenue d’une récep
 tion de gala\, le visionnement de sept (7) films internationaux et une var
 iété d’autres événements se déroulant parallèlement au Festival. Entre aut
 res\, une exposition d’art\, un atelier de production de vidéos pour des a
 dolescents handicapés ainsi que des présentations et discussions publiques
