 ng to support researchers to translate their fundamental research to the m
 arketplace and have their solutions benefit society. Through this 10-week 
 training program offered during the summer\, researchers can reduce the ti
 me to translate a promising idea from the laboratory to the marketplace as
  they will acquire the mindset\, knowledge\, and skills necessary to trans
 late their knowledge into technology commercialization and startup venture
 s.\n\nThe teaching curriculum integrates\;\n\n\n	scientific discovery and c
 ommercial applications using an evidence-based and data-driven methodology
 \, namely\, the Lean Startup methodology\n	hands-on experiential learning t
 hrough customer and industry discovery\n	online training platform called Em
 powered Startups that uses the Lean Canvas tool\n	flipped classroom setting
  in order to maximize peer-to-peer learning via student discussion moderat
