He is the Director of 黑料不打烊 Global Health Progra ms\, and Associate Director of the 黑料不打烊 International TB Centre. Madhu s erves as a Consultant to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He also serv es on the STAG-TB committee of WHO\, Geneva\; Scientific Advisory Committe e of FIND\, Geneva\; and Access Advisory Committee of TB Alliance\, New Yo rk. He is on the editorial boards of Lancet Infectious Diseases\, PLoS Med icine\, PLoS ONE\, Scientific Reports\, International Journal of TB and Lu ng Disease\, among others. Madhu鈥檚 research is mainly focused on improving the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis\, especially in high-burden c ountries like India and South Africa. His research is supported by grant f unding from the Gates Foundation\, Grand Challenges Canada\, and Canadian Institutes of Health Research. He is recipient of the Union Scientific Pri ze\, Chanchlani Global Health Research Award\, and Haile T. Debas Prize.
