However\, these tw o forms of pluralism unintentionally pave the way to increased flexibility in epistemological view points\, methods and ways to formulate causal pol icy claims\,which can in turn pave the way to reduce the quality of eviden ce (by increasing evidence in directness\, evidence in consistency and ris k of bias). Reduced quality of evidence is likely to lead to reduced evide nce credibility and legitimacy\, which might in turn impede evidence use i n support of causal policy claims.
