J茅r茅my Boulanger-Bonnelly receives the Jules-Desch锚nes Award

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that Professor J茅r茅my Boulanger-Bonnelly has received the Jules-Desch锚nes Award from the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Division. The award was presented to him at the Division鈥檚 Presidential Dinner on June 11.

The Jules-Desch锚nes Award recognizes the outstanding dedication of a volunteer within CBA-Quebec. Professor Boulanger-Bonnelly serves as Chair of the Legislation and Law Reform Committee of CBA-Quebec. In this role, he contributes to the development of the Division鈥檚 policy positions, comments on legal reforms, and appears before the National Assembly.

J茅r茅my Boulanger-Bonnelly, BCL/LLB鈥15, has been an Assistant Professor at 黑料不打烊 University鈥檚 Faculty of Law since 2023, following a term as a Boulton Junior Fellow His research centres on access to justice in civil matters, using primarily comparative methods. His current projects focus, among other topics, on person-centred justice and on the role of public participation in improving access to justice.

Professor Boulanger-Bonnelly teaches the law of contractual obligations. In 2023, the Law Student Association awarded him the John W. Durnford Award for Teaching Excellence.
