The interpreter will help during the Q and A session for folks who want to ask questions and do not speak Spanish.\n\nPlease register on Eventbrite.\n\n\n This workshop will be led by Klau Kinky\, a founding member of the informal Barcelona-based collecti ve GynePunk. The workshop will introduce GynePunk's open-source gynaecolog ical kit for self-diagnosis. The kit was conceived in resistance to experi ences of humiliation\, discrimination and judgement in public gynaecology clinics. GynePunk is a collaboration between people of differedifferent ba ckgrounds\, from nurses to engineers and transfeminists. Their activism pr omotes self-knowledge and learning about our own bodies. They explore pati ent-led diagnosis and treatment through their mobile lab.\n\nKlau Kinky wi ll share the circumstances that led to the development of the DIY gynaecol ogical tools for self-diagnosis\, including an open-source microscope\, a 3D printed speculum and a centrifuge. The event will address the political implications and limitations of the DIY kit\, such as how it could serve persons without sufficient access to healthcare\, those without a fixed ho me\, refugees\, sex workers\, or those who fear discrimination in public h ealth services.
