 queer music from the 1970s and 1980s! (don't worry a poster will be forthc
 oming with more on the bands soon!)\n\nBetween sets @kierstenvanvliet and 
 I (@dr.alexketchum) will talk about the history of queer music in Montreal
  and feminist events (I'll talk a bit about #IngredientsForRevolution: A H
 istory of American Feminist Restaurants\, Cafes\, and Coffeehouses).\n\nTh
 is is a fundraiser for @rockcampmontreal.\n\n10 dollar suggested donation 
 for the event (either at the door or your can donate online in advance).\n
 \nDonate link.\n\nAbout Rock Camp: The goal is for girls\, non binary\, tr
 ans and gender non-conforming youth to rock in all aspects of life! Rock C
 amp Montreal is an organization that holds a week-long summer camp where c
 ampers discover and express their talents\, and become leaders in creating
  their own cultural production through music. Musicians and community memb
 ers support campers through instrument instruction\, tech tutorials\, band
  practice and skill-building workshops. At the week’s end\, campers get th
 e chance to show off their talents to friends\, family\, and community mem
 bers at the Showcase Concert\, as well as record their song in a professio
 nal studio environment. Many campers attend camp with no prior musical kno
 wledge\, and our ultimate goal is to promote self-confidence\, team work\,
  and most importantly\, to have fun!\n
