 Celebrating Muslim Women

Plurie’Elles will be screened in French.

From an empowerment perspective, where it's important for marginalized groups to share their experiences and become aware of their power, we aim to help build the resilience of young Quebecer Muslim womenÌýby presenting them with portraits of women living in the same context, facing various obstacles and engaged in society in different spheres.

The film Pluri'Elles follows the careers of six young Quebecer Muslim women working in different professional fields. Through their testimonies, they share their challenges and successes, as well as their relationship with their faith.

Pluri'Elles aims to shed light on the multiple and complex identities of Muslim women living in Quebec, in order to reduce their essentialization and dispel prejudices against them."

This event is co-organised by the Student Affairs Liaison for Muslim Students (Office of the Dean of Students) in collaboration with the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Muslim Alumni Society.
