 y cheer? Our Days of Service Gift Distribution event at CHSLD Vigi Reine-E
 lizabeth is the perfect opportunity to serve those in long-term care facil
 ities during the holiday season\, where isolation is felt all the more str
 ongly. Gift distribution volunteering consists of sorting through gifts th
 at have already been prepared and packaged and distributing them to the ap
 propriate patients within the facility. Residential and long-term care cen
 ters\, better known as CHSLDs\, are accommodations intended for seniors ex
 periencing a significant loss of autonomy. Their mission is to provide the
 ir clients with a safe and hospitable environment while ensuring they rece
 ive the care and services that they need.  Wearing a mask is extremely enc
 ouraged. Registration closes on November 29th. You will be required to com
 plete a background check form by November 6th.You will receive an email wi
 th additional information following your registration.When a minimum of 4 
 hours of volunteering for CHSLD has been completed\, you can request a cop
 y of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR)\, an official document recognizing yo
 ur involvement in and out of classroom learning experiences.
