 agogy\, which focuses a great deal on the practice of IP. This talk will b

  teaching of the practical. He will also be giving a formal talk the next 
 day.  About the speaker  Michael J. Madison is a Professor of Law and Facu
 lty Director of the Innovation Practice Institute at the University of Pit
 tsburgh School of Law\, in Pittsburgh\, Pennsylvania\, USA. He specializes
  in the law\, policy\, and theory of intellectual property. His scholarshi
 p on intellectual property law\, property theory\, and commons has appeare
 d in law reviews at Cornell University\, Fordham University\, Boston Colle
 ge\, the University of Notre Dame\, the College of William & Mary\, and Ca
 se Western Reserve University\, among others\, and he is the co-author of 
 a casebook on intellectual property law published by Aspen Publishers\, no
 w in its third edition. Professor Madison has been a member of the faculty
