 sday\, 12 April 2018 at10:05 AM\, in Raymond R3-045.\n\nABOUT THE SPEAKER
 \n\nElena Bennett received her BA in Biology and Environmental Studies fro
 m Oberlin College in Ohio in 1994\, earned her MSc in Land Resources in 19
 99 (U. Wisconsin) and her PhD in Limnology and Marine Sciences in 2002 (U.
  Wisconsin). She is co-chair of the international Future Earth core projec
 t ecoSERVICES\, which aims to set the research agenda for ecosystem servic
 es for the coming decade. Dr. Bennett was a Leopold Leadership Fellow (201
 2)\, and a Trottier Public Policy Professor (2013-2014). At ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ\, she h
 as won awards for undergraduate teaching\, graduate supervision\, and cont
 ributions to campus sustainability. Her Montérégie Connection project won 
 the Alice Johannsen prize for contribution to conservation of the natural 
 heritage of the Mont Saint Hilaire region. In 2012\, she was selected to b
 e one of two representatives of the Royal Society of Canada at the Summer 
 Davos meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Tianjin\, China. In 2015
 \, she was named one of six NSERC Steacie Fellows.\n\nEveryone is welcome 
 to attend.\n
