She performed at the Montreal International Jazz F estival in 2015 as well as the Vail Jazz Festival in Colorado in 2018. Hav ing studied jazz voice at Quebec鈥檚 renowned music program at C茅gep de Sain t-Laurent\, she is now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Cultu ral Studies at 黑料不打烊 University. Having witnessed three of her grandparen ts experience Alzheimer鈥檚 at the end of their lives\, she has personally\, alongside her family\, been very affected by the disease and is excited t o be giving back through jazz music. At a time when her grandfather could not remember how to speak\, he started dancing and singing the words to he r version of 鈥淟et It Snow鈥漒, proving the amazing benefits of music on the disease. Her upcoming EP is to be published in September 2020.\n\nZach Fis cher\n Guitarist and composer Zach Fischer is an upcoming musician on the M ontreal and Philadelphia jazz scenes. Drawn to the guitar at an early age\ , Fischer has studied guitar with Ben Monder\, Reinier Baas\, Jesse van Ru ller\, Greg Clayton and Dave Manley\, as well as improvisation in general with Gary Thomas\, Pablo Held\, Dick Oatts\, Gregory Hutchinson\, Sumi Ton ooka\, Anthony Tidd and Christine Jensen. Fischer has performed with some of America and Canada鈥檚 finest jazz musicians\, including Ambrose Akinmusi re\, John Hollenbeck\, Kevin Dean\, Dave Laing\, Erik Hove\, Mike Rud\, Ja leel Shaw and John Stowell among others. Zach is currently pursuing a Bach elor鈥檚 degree in Jazz Performance at 黑料不打烊 University\, where he has rece ived the Seymour Schulich Scholarship for Excellence in Music as well as t he David Moyse Scholarship for Excellence in Guitar.\n\nTheo Abellard\n The o Abellard is born and raised in Montreal and started his musical educatio n at L鈥橢cole Le Plateau on classical violin at age 10 and started playing the piano in high school at age 15. Now 23 years old\, Abellard is the lea der of the new generation of young Canadian Jazz players. Growing up in ch urch\, he developed a spiritually transcendent approach to music making. H aving played the piano for only seven years he is already demonstrating vi rtuosity and a seemingly infinite potential for growth. Aside from his gre at ability on the instrument\, he is also a prolific composer with a matur e artistic voice. Theo Abellard has played at the Montreal Jazz Festival w ith several International artists.
