 r organizing committee are pleased to announce that the 4th National Neuro
 muscular Review Course will be held on October 22\, 23\, 2021\, in an enti
 rely virtual format. The review course is aimed at neurology Residents and
  Fellows from across Canada as well as at practicing community neurologist
 s who are interested in a comprehensive review of the current principles a
 nd practices dealing with neuromuscular diseases.\n\nThis comprehensive re
 view course may serve to fulfill part of the preparation requirements for 
 trainees seeking to complete the Royal College Examinations in Neurology a
 nd in related fields.\n\nThe course will present experts who will provide 
 a state-of-the-art overview of topics such as motor neuron diseases\, pedi
 atrics\, neuropathies\, neuromuscular junction diseases and myopathies. Th
 e speakers will cover basic clinical concepts from diagnosis to therapeuti
 cs\, from genomics to immunology. The program will include examination sce
 narios for those participants wishing to gain experience in examination si
 tuations.\n\nWe believe this program will assist all Neurology Residents i
 n preparing for their examination. Moreover\, the course will bring commun
 ity neurologists up to date on neuromuscular diseases so that ultimately t
 hey can improve the diagnosis and care of their patients.\n\nRegistration 
 is available here at no cost for residents however registration is require

 for Neurology Residents are available on a first come\, first served basis
  to provide some financial assistance to those traveling from within Canad
 a and who have registered to attend the National Neuromuscular Course Revi
 ew in Montreal. Residents in PGY 4-5 will be prioritized for travel grants
 . A minimum travel distance from Montreal of 250 kilometers is required. A
 pplications must be submitted by August 12\, 2021 to sasha.kelly [at] mcgi
 ll.ca and only registered applicants will be considered. You will be notif
 ied of the status of your application by September 7\, 2021.\n\n		Award amou
 nts will be based on distance:\n\n		For Neurology residents travelling from 
 outside the province of Québec\, approved awards will be in the amount of 
 $500.\n\n		For Neurology residents travelling from outside of Montreal\, but
  within the province of Québec\, approved awards will be in the amount of 
 $300.\n	\n\n	\n		Facility Directions\n\n		Building directions to the de Grandpré
  Communications Centre:\n\n		When entering the main MNI lobby turn left and 
 go to the end of the hallway.\n\n		Turn right and pass the first set of elev
 ators on your right.\n\n		Go to the second set of elevators that are near th
 e Neurosurgery offices on your right.\n\n		Take the elevators down to 2B whi
 ch is the Brain Imaging Centre.\n\n		When exiting the elevators go right the
 n right again past the reception desk.\n\n		Go through a set of doors and go
  down the hall through the second set of doors.\n\n		You are now entering th
 e Molson Pavilion. Go down the hall and pass through the third set of door
 s. You are now entering the Brain Tumour Research Centre.\n\n		There are a s
 et of elevators on your left near the third set of doors.\n\n		Take the elev
 ators down to 3B which is the bottom floor.\n\n		The de Grandpré Communicati
 ons Centre is on the right side of the elevators when you exit.\n	\n\n	\n		Con
