Experts: Quebec’s infrastructure crisis

Quebec is grappling with a significant infrastructure maintenance deficit, which has doubled since 2018, according to Quebec Treasury Board figures. The Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec has raised concerns about public safety and is initiating a province-wide consultation to propose steps to be taken. François Bouffard, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, researches the resilience and reliability of energy infrastructure.
