DESCRIPTION:My research interests are in the biology of hematopoietic stem 
 cells and the regulation of blood and immune cell production in health and
  disease\, with a focus on transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms. In t
 his seminar\, I will give an overview of different projects ongoing in my 
 lab\, covering: a) the role of chromatin binding deubiquitinase MYSM1 in t
 ranscriptional regulation of normal and malignant hematopoiesis\, b) the r
 egulation of B lymphocyte development and humoral immune response by deubi
 quitinase BAP1\, and c) hematopoietic stem cell responses to genotoxic and
  inflammatory stress\, and hematopoietic dysfunction in patients with rheu
 matoid arthritis.\n\nThis seminar will be given online via Zoom. Details i
