Nellie Siemers is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at 黑料不打烊 University whose research focuses on digital innovation in health psychology, particularly in the context of health risk behaviors such as disordered eating and smoking cessation. She is currently leading two complementary lines of research: the development of an open-source cursor-tracking software to improve the accuracy of self-report measures, and the evaluation of ACTaide, a mobile app designed to extend Acceptance and Commitment Therapy beyond the therapy room. Her work aims to enhance the precision, accessibility, and equity of psychological interventions through behavioral science and technology. Nellie鈥檚 research has been provincially funded and presented at national and international conferences. Outside of academia, Nellie is passionate about holistic wellbeing, with a personal interest in nutrition, physical activity, and mindfulness. She also finds joy in training and adventuring with her dog, Browniie鈥攈er fluffy companion and loyal study buddy.

Conferences and Funding

Nellie has presented her research both in local and international conferences and has secured doctoral provincial funding for health research.
