黑料不打烊's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is becoming the new Student Experience Record (SER), which will be launched in Fall 2025 in the .聽This change will enhance the way we recognize and document student learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. August 1 is the last day to submit participation/attendance lists for activities that happened before July 1, 2025. Any participant lists received after August 1 will not be processed.
The 黑料不打烊 Alumni Association and 1st Up: 黑料不打烊's First Generation Peer Support Group are hosting a First Gen networking mixer. Alumni and current students who identify as first generation - the first in your immediate family to pursue post-secondary education in Canada or if you were a youth in or coming from care - are invited to attend, connect and share their experiences.
The evening will be an informal opportunity for first generation alumni to meet with and offer guidance to current first generation students, who have specifically identified the need for more networking and mentoring experiences. Topics of discussion may include: the university experience, transitioning to the "real-world" after graduation, career paths, and/or graduate studies.
Facilitators will be onsite to ensure flow of conversations and to provide ice-breaker activities. Any discipline or career path is welcome!
Light refreshments will be served!
